The company was established Charles Mokoena Who worked for ITC 2312 cc (Now Esenele Pty Ltd) since 2013 doing Electrical pre paid meter Audit, Installations, Repairs and Illegal electrical connection removal for City of Ekurhuleni from 2014 to 2020.

The company implements electrical infrastructure projects from low voltage to high voltage, in the Transmission & Distribution as well as renewable energy industries. Mzwaphi service offering includes the construction of electrical substations and reticulation projects, including electrification.

Mzwaphi Trading (Pty) Ltd was established in 2007 as Mzwaphi Trading CC 2020 it changed to Mzwaphi Trading (Pty) Ltd, to respond to the country’s need for speedy implementation of infrastructure projects. It operates in the built and construction environment.
